I bought this thing, it was very stable at first but than it got pretty unstable in flight pretty fast. It’s pretty sturdy though, you can crash it a million times and it’ll just keep going. If you can, make sure that you have replacement blades though. However, I’d just shell out the extra 10 bucks and get the Apache version.
It’s not as durable, and the motors burn out pretty fast, so keep spare parts handy, but it’s a lot more fun to fly, and it’s a lot more stable. Only down side is that it gets 5 minutes (tops) of flight time per hourly charge. So its for you only if you are a patient enthusiast.
And don’t get the Comanche version. Whatever you do, don’t buy the Comanche. The parts are impossible to find, the damn thing is as stable as a cow on rocket skates, and the blades last for only one crash. You crash once, and that’s all it takes. Boom, you’re done. That’s 70 bucks down the drain.
Sum it up, cobra products suck.
but they are fun. for about an hour, then they break down.
Is 50 bucks worth an hour of fun?
Yes.
I’ve spent more on shorter thrills and the choppers don’t have you thrown out when you slap them around, unlike a titty bar, and they cost less.
